On Saturday October 20th 2018, our students (the class of 2017-2018) officially graduated. It was a very beautiful day!
We were very happy to welcome our students’ proud parents, relatives and friends. We could see the excitement, satisfaction and this glorious feeling of accomplishment in the graduates’ eyes. It has been a pretty demanding year for them, but a productive, creative and educational one as well. They have crafted a lot of memories and they have forged many strong bonds, which we hope will last for a lifetime. We also hope that they will be able to apply the knowledge and competences acquired at Solvay both in their personal and professional life.

The day started by welcoming the recent graduates and their relatives. Then the Academic Directors and a student of each Advanced Master gave an emotional speech.
This year, we had the honor to welcome the Governor of the National Bank of Belgium, Jan Smets, who delivered an inspiring Commencement Speech to our graduates of the Financial Markets and Quantitative Finance Advanced Masters.
After the speeches, the actual Graduation Ceremony took place and after having taken the legendary group photos, we all enjoyed a nice cocktail.

Dear graduates: many congratulations on your well-deserved success.
The Solvay Advanced Masters team wishes you all the best for the future and always remember: there’s no limit to what you can do, so keep learning and keep challenging yourselves!!

 

 

Solvay Brussels School’s Advanced Masters have been developed to create a breed of ‘out-thinkers’ ready to tackle the continual changes of the business world. These postgraduate programmes confer Advanced Master degrees in focused areas for Master students with no or limited professional experience (normally maximum 3 years). They are designed as full-time programs for 1 academic year and represent 60 ECTS each.
