The Governor of the National Bank of Belgium, Jan Smets, delivered an inspiring Commencement Speech to our Finance Graduates of 2018!

On Saturday October 20th 2018, our students (the class of 2017-2018) officially graduated.

We had the honor to welcome the Governor of the National Bank of Belgium, Jan Smets, who delivered an inspiring Commencement Speech to the 2018 graduates of the Financial Markets and Quantitative Finance Advanced Masters.
He highlighted the need for financial markets to help support sustainable economic growth and, to that end, stressed the importance of ethics in financial markets in the aftermath of the financial crisis that started 10 years ago and outlined his vision of the key role that central banks should continue to play in the future to preserve financial and monetary stability as well as payments mechanisms adapted to new technologies.

We would like to thank the Governor for his presence and give many congratulations to our graduates on their well-deserved success.
