baeyensJean-Pierre holds the Chair of Marketing at Solvay Brussels School where he teaches Marketing Theory, Strategic Marketing Management and International Marketing. MSc in Management Solvay Brussels School, MBA Harvard Business School, he is also the Academic Director of this Master in Creativity & Marketing and calls himself a “Chief Inspiration Officer”.

bluemelhuberChristian is professor for Strategic Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. He worked at different universities across the world like Germany (Univ Munich, Technical Univ Munich, Univ for Television and Film), US (Virginia Tech Univ) and Belgium.
As an entrepreneur, Christian co-developed and co-design two innovations (SOCCAFIVE and J-TENNIS) in the sports sector, and cofounded companies that market new methods for market research and gaming. He published in journals like Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Consumer Behavior, and has written books on TV series and about the impact of marketing on consumers and society.

boutyAs C-Level international Marketing and Strategy professional, Laurent Bouty brings his 20 years of international experience in Marketing, Sales, Strategy and Leadership. He has a broad Marketing experience (from Marketing Strategy to Communication) including latest trends like analytics, social networks and mobile gained in Telecommunication, Advertising and Financial sector. Laurent has a strong marketing execution orientation through team development and best practices implementation. Laurent is the Academic Director of this program and he is also teaching Strategy and Marketing in different programs. Laurent obtained an Executive MBA from Henley Management College, UK, in 2004. He has a post-graduate in Telematics and Organisation (1998), and also holds a Master in Civil Engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (1994).

brebantFrederic Brebant is a well known belgian journalist. He graduated from journalism school IHECS and achieved a degree in International Relations. Frederic worked as lifestyle journalist, business journalist and co-editor in chief of a well-known magazine. He is now radio-columnist and business journalist specialized in Media, Advertising, Communication and Marketing. He won the Citi Journalistic Excellence Award in 2011.

DESIGN – ICONIC BRANDING.

Thierry is one of Base Design’s founding partners. Though leading BaseBrussels, Thierry today oversees all important strategic and conceptual issues within Base, and is in constant contact with the studios in New-York and Geneva. To projects ranging from visual identities to ad campaigns, Thierry imparts a philosophy of graphic and conceptual simplicity that emphasizes concise communication and believes in the power of creative autonomy mixed with teamwork and pleasure. Thierry has led landmark Base projects including MoMA QNS, Maison Michel, San Francisco Art Institute, Mobistar, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Delvaux, Bozar, The Olympic Museum and La Monnaie Opera and is the author the “5-minute poster series”, each dedicated to a short bit of wisdom on design. Today, Thierry is also professor at La Cambre’s Design departments, and presents design and brand conferences around the world. Thierry bears a striking and seemingly contradictory resemblance both to Moby and Kermit the Frog.

Nicolas Debray was Account Manager at Google Belgium responsible for the Retail, Automotive & Entertainment sectors. Prior to that, he set-up the business intelligence section of Google Belgium. Before Google, Nicolas worked for Dedicated Research, the largest independent market research company in Belgium. Now, Nicolas is Semetis founder and Managing Director. Semetis is a Digital Advertising and Digital Business Intelligence Agency market leader in Belgium.

delahautFabian Delahaut has a bachelor degree in Philosophy because He wanted to know WHY He is here. He did a MBA at Solvay Brussels School because He wanted to know HOW to be here. He studied acting and singing because He wanted to be FREE. Free to live as many lives as possible. It’s also why He is riding horses. He wrote a book “The crime of the speaker” because He wanted to help as much people as possible to become better speakers, greater speakers. His mission or His OBSESSION is to help you go to the next level.

BUZZ – DIGITAL MARCOM.

desagerGeert Desager is CEO of the integrated digital agency nine o’clock somewhere and has more than 18 years of experience in digital marketing and advises companies on digital strategy, digital marketing, social media and CRM.
Prior to this, he had senior marketing positions at companies such as DDB,PayPal and Microsoft in Europe and Asia. Before that he was responsible for digital projects in several advertising agencies and marketing services companies. During his career he lived and worked in Brussels, Cape Town, Paris and Singapore.
Geert holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, a Master in E-business from the Solvay Brussels School and a Bachelor in Applied Linguistics from the Erasmushogeschool.

gassnerMarjorie Gassner holds a PhD in Mathematics, ULB (1989). Her main research fields are Political Economics and Collective Decisions. She is member of CRISP and CEVIPOL. She teaches mathematics at ULB.

georgeMartine George holds a MBA and a PhD in physical sciences. She has over 25 years of professional experience, including 15 spent developing business analytics teams within large organizations from different industries. She is Professor of Management Practice at Solvay Brussels School. Passionate about developing talent and organizations in business analytics, she is also ICF professional certified coach, facilitator & trainer.

hosseinyBabak is Creative Director and member of the board of Mostra, an agency focusing on the design and creation of institutional communication material, actions and campaigns, within an international context. Before that, he was for several years the Creative Director of OGILVY, one of the most prestigious communication agencies in the world.

FEEL – CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR MARKETING.

Cyril Jamelot is an international marketing and communication lover. He started in international marketing and consumer research amongst strong brands such as Yoplait, Coca-Cola or Alpro. He is now owning Sens21, being a consultant as well as a professor in business schools and a keynote speaker. His ambition is to boost the brands and the stakeholders with a new marketing with emotions, inspiring objectives and strategies through human connections, bridging the brands with the consumers and the managers.

He is one of the most vocal, respected and front-facing experts on experiential marketing and its integrative role in digital/social channels. His first book has been cited as “the best book on experiential marketing,“ and his second book about marketing creativity in the world’s hyper-markets like Brazil, Russia, India and China has been translated into five languages. Previously to founding School, Max ran the experiential practice at world-renown agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

raisonMark Raison will serve as Scientific Director of this programme. He is “the” European specialist in creativity. He runs his own company (Yellow Ideas.com) and he’s been training and counselling dozens of companies such as L’Oréal , LVMH, Groupe Danone, Cartier, L’Occitane, Unilever and more… He also teaches creativity at EDHEC Lille, the Milan Creative Academy and… Solvay Brussels School. He’s inspiring, provocative and so funny that you want more of it each time! Mark is the author of “Osez la créativité” (2014) , “Stratégie & Créativité” (2015) et “Réveiller sa créativité” (2016).

Dr. Sandra Rothenberger has been active since 2001 in the scientific and has been focusing her research and teaching on Strategic Marketing, mainly in the areas of Strategic Pricing and Consumer Behavior. She has an international research network and teaching background with various European, American and Asian Universities and Business Schools. She is currently chairing the research unit of Strategy, Governance, Marketing and Innovation at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. Dr. Rothenberger has published in several research journals, including the European Management Journal, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Journal of Relationship Marketing and Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism, co-authored and co-edited research monographs andpublished books on Strategic Pricing and Strategic Management. Her business and industry experience includes consultancy of small and medium sized companies as well as supervisory board activities in European multinational corporations.

With more than 15 years of experience in the digital industry, Raphael always focused on the user, interested by individuals using technology and not technology itself.
Certified in user experience, he worked with numerous belgian large accounts on web and mobile applications and sites.

BRAND STRATEGY – THE AGENCY PERSPECTIVE.

Right from the start in 2009, the agency has put young talent at the heart of its team and in charge of their client projects (a.o. Adobe, Belgian Road Safety Institute, Brussels Airlines, Desperados, De Persgroep, RTL Group, Sony Music).

As President of the Expert Centre Skills of the Association of Communication Companies (ACC) Belgium, Steffen worked to identify, attract and grow young talent for the Belgian communication industry.

Prior to creating 20Something, Steffen built experience in change management at Accenture, as well as brand, marketing and customer experience management at Essent and Proximus. Steffen is a 1997 alumnus of Solvay Business School.
